What are the healthy foods? Many people will ask this question if we discuss them about the right foods to eat. Health Foods are consist of food which are high in fiber. These foods are vegetables, fruits and grains. For me my diet is consist of vegetables and fruits but I eat fish too for protein. I ate poultry, pork and/or beef once a week or every two weeks. Beans are also good source of protein if you are a Vigan or vegetarian.


Green Leafy Vegetables are good source of vitamins like A, C and K and minerals such as calcium and iron. You can add canola or olive oil when eating this type of vegetables in order to absorb the vitamins and minerals in our body. Examples of these vegetables are lettuce, spinach, kale, broccoli and other related dark color vegetables.


Healthy Food is necessary in order to have a healthy body and sound mind. Fruits are also very good for our health as the saying goes "An apple a day will keep a doctor away". Fruits are high in fiber and it will also quench your thirst especially during summer. Water Melons which is composed mostly of water is available during summer and cheaper.
