Additional research studies have indicated that germanium has immunomodulating properties and may also function as a free radical scavenger. Germanium appears to be natural regulator of homeostasis, found to be nontoxic even at high oral doses. No toxin found in this mineral.
Germanium
Organic germanium, bis-carboxyethyl germanium sesqui-oxide (or "GE-132"), has been tested in the treatment of a wide variety of medical problems that require improved oxygenation and immune function. Found in high quantities in garlic, Siberian ginseng, reishi (lingzhi) mushroom, and other medicinal plants, germanium has been shown to enhance gamma-interferon and activate macrophages and natural killer cells. Several Japanese medical studies have reported beneficial effects in malignancies and rheumatoid arthritis.
Additional research studies have indicated that germanium has immunomodulating properties and may also function as a free radical scavenger. Germanium appears to be natural regulator of homeostasis, found to be nontoxic even at high oral doses. No toxin found in this mineral.
