USB is now very popular that almost all external part of computers are using USB like mouse, bluetooth, camera, keyboard and etc. USB stands for "Universal Serial Bus" that replaces most of the pin type connectors. Flash Memory is also using usb type connector. In the POS business like registry machines, usb barcode scanners are now used too. It is easy to use because it is easy to plug and your done. The rate of data transfer is also very high like 12 Mbits/ second. The good news is you don't have to provide power on it, it will take power from the computer or system itself. When you plug or unplug there is no need for you to turn off your computer.
